Thank you for your interest in the International
Student Association (ISA) at the University of West Alabama. We help international students make the very best of the time they spend at the university.
Some Facts About ISA
- The ISA is a student-led organization that aims to promote cultural awareness and multinational understanding among the UWA community.
- Membership is open to both international and American students, everyone interested in different
countries and cultural backgrounds.
- ISA members are active both on campus and in the Sumter
County community, organizing activities and participating in a number of organizations on campus, so international students' voices are heard.
- Currently, UWA has 20 international students from Africa, Europe, South and North America. ISA promotes cultures from all these countries to the UWA
community.
- ISA get-togethers represent different countries and their cultures including traditions, food, games, music, etc.
